"Snakes!"
As kids we enjoyed exploring in the swamp at the end of our street (Millwood). It became less interesting as Bryant Blakeslee was a collector of live snakes. He always seemed to have several on hand and would stop by to show me the new additiion to his collection. Ewwe... he was fearless.
