My Prized State Champion Jacket
Sumter sent us to the Peach Bowl in 1969 after C.A., Seaman, James Eaves , Stanley Welch, the Hammock brothers and others beat Gaffney and finished 12-0 and State Champions. I was 16 and it changed my life! Coach Satterfield , Cherry, Noonan, Weldon were awesome Thinking Big can work....sometimes. We won them all.
