At the 1/25/2017 monthly gathering of old Edmunds High School alumns at the Golden Corral in Sumter, 4 American Heros, TM Ward, Murr Brown, Roy Weathersby, and Jimmie Williams were awarded Quilts of Valor, the highest award a civilian can present to a veteran.
